Faculty List
As Co-Chairs of ILTA 2011, we are thrilled to be part of the premier peer-networking and educational program for legal technology professionals in 2011.
Our theme for ILTA 2011 is Rev-Elation, which grew out of ILTA’s 2010 conference. We saw that our conference focus on positively working to strengthen the bonds between the attorneys and the technologists gave people hope for the future. Our keynote gave us five real life takeaways to help us support our organizations and move forward. We saw our conference attendees go back to work with renewed energy and a renewed sense of purpose. We are using this positive outlook and shift from "doom and gloom" to hopeful change as we develop the educational program for ILTA 2011. Our venue, the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, has had its own revitalization after the historic flooding in May 2010. It re-opened in November 2010 ,better than ever and ready for ILTA to arrive.
The content for ILTA 2011 is framed around four areas of discipline, each providing myriad areas of focus. Here are just a few session highlights:

- Computing in the Cloud: New Rules Around the Risk of Cloud Computing
- Electronic Matter File Lifecycle

- Low Cost Approaches to Information Management: Using the Tools You Already Own

Starting Sunday afternoon with our Communities of Interest, we provide multiple opportunities to network and learn with peers. Our expert speakers take the stage beginning Monday morning with a high-powered keynote focusing on the conference theme and followed each morning by a keynote speaker focusing on one aspect of Law2020™. Throughout the nearly 200 educational sessions, you will experience many learning styles and session formats and will have numerous takeaways to use when you get back to the office. Here are some of the session formats you will be able to participate in:
- Lecture presentations by experts
- ILTA member case studies
- Panel discussions comprising multiple expert speakers
- Moderated interactive roundtables with questions from the audience
- Six Topics in 60 Minutes
- Crowdsourced content that comes from attendees before the event
- BarCamps that produce unstructured, attendee-driven content
We are very excited about leading the ILTA 2011 team. Our volunteer Conference Committee is working to find the "right" speaker(s) for each session and is developing the topics listed throughout this website.
Watch for session detail information as the program comes together, and watch for ways you can engage in the content development for some of our “crowdsourced” sessions.
