Recycling Program: The Gaylord Texan has a comprehensive recycling program in place throughout the resort and conference center. Details to follow.

ILTA ‘08 Conference Green Initiatives
Reduction in Paper: Wherever possible, we have reduced the amount of paper we are producing, starting with the conference postcard (replacing the conference brochure traditionally mailed out to ILTA members), printed session materials (downloadable from the conference website and available for printing on an ad hoc basis onsite)

Reduction in “Other” Materials: Audio recordings of sessions are available for download in MP3 format rather than on CDs as previously.

Reduction in Disposable Plastic Water Bottles: Reusable water bottles are provided to attendees, and water stations are located throughout the conference center.

Use of Recycled Materials: The reusable water bottles are made from recycled materials, and the majority of paper conference materials are produced on recycled paper. Many of the napkins, stirrer and other paper products are produced from recycled materials.
